Come December and I get spontaneously groovy! But
of course blame it on Dilli Ki Sardi, the festive extravaganza and the Masakali me who is forever ready for a
little more fun. I in my element is a regular
at Delhi’s favourite Select CITYWALK, however my visits to the mall almost
multiplies to quadruple as Christmas nears. No I am not exactly a shopping
person, but I quite enjoy life with bells on.
The annual Christmas market at CITYWALK is
something I am really fond of. The decorations, mood and the offers which reverberates
this shopping paradise always pump me up. To put it straight all the bling and
pomp at my yearly Christmas cum New Year’s parties are gems from this very
market. More like a tradition now, I handpicked all the party essentials from this
year’s Christmas special bazaar that was in place from 16th to 20th
December. Brimming with all the hues from round the world, I love to spoil
myself with more than what I need from this wonderland while of course swooning
with gastronomical delight in abundance of cakes and cookies. The adoption
centre for Santas little puppies at
the market was a huge hit amongst the visitors and added to the novelty which
CITYWALK is famous for.
Lit up with Christmas spirits around thebiggest Christmas tree I have witnessed so far, CITYWALK is adorned with
festivities at their full force this December.

A classified epicurean as I have
turned out to be, it was hard for me to resist the temptation of participating
in a Healthy Cooking Workshop by renowned chef Tirath Singh, which with all my weight
issues (that I accept with a very heavy heart!) is the need of the hour. The
gluten-free workshop with many toothsome recipes was a gourmet heaven training
in and serving with roast chicken along with pomegranate glaze and Christmas
special plum cake.
As Delhi and I are thoroughly immersed in a
Christmas and New Year high, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that CITYWALK
stands out as a stellar adding to the jubilance and pep of the city that
undeniably echoes the exact mood of the capital.
Signing off!
